The Dugout is the only turf facility in Mitchell open to the public. We are excited to serve Mitchell and the surrounding communities for all your turf sports needs.
Our Story
Baseball and softball have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. We have always had a passion for the game and growing the sport. It’s been our dream for many years to open a facility to allow others to have year-round access to develop their skills.
Our careers brought us to Mitchell and we soon realized there wasn’t a turf space available with public access for teams to utilize in and out of season. We are excited to serve the Mitchell area and continue to grow and develop the baseball and softball communities as well as serve any other needs for a turf facility the community may have.
Our Services
Single Tunnel
Rent one of our climate controlled, fully turf covered batting tunnels to level up your game. We provide the pitching machine, balls, tees and safety screen. You just need to show up and BYOB (Bring your own Bat)
Full Turf
Want to work on more than just your swing? Have a whole team? Rent the entire turf facility to work in all 3 tunnels or pull back the nets and have the wide open turf with access to all equipment available to the tunnels.
